We all have thoughts we accept as truth—beliefs that shape how we see the world, ourselves, and what we think we’re capable of. But have you ever stopped to ask where those thoughts come from?
Let’s talk about The Three Questions, a simple but powerful way to filter the mental noise and find out what really deserves space in your head.

Question 1
Where did that thought come from?
Maybe it was a parent, a teacher, or something you heard as a kid. Over time, these outside voices become internal beliefs—and suddenly, you’re carrying around ideas that never belonged to you. Like, “I’m terrible at remembering names.” Is that true? Or is it just a script you’ve been repeating for years? Trace it back. If you can’t find when or where it began, chances are, it’s not even yours.

Question 2
Is it true?
If you can’t pinpoint when this belief took root, or why, you should question its legitimacy. Ask yourself: Is this objectively true, or something I assumed was true?
Often, these beliefs get handed down generationally without anyone ever challenging them. But what happens the moment you do? You give yourself the chance to rewrite the story.

Question 3
Will this thought help me or hurt me?
This is the real game-changer. Thoughts are powerful —they shape how you show up in your career, your relationships, and your sense of self.
So, ask: Is this belief moving me, my career, my relationships forward? Is it pushing me forward or holding me back? If it’s not helping, let it go. You can choose to carry only the thoughts that serve you.
Here’s the Truth
You are the gatekeeper of your own mind. The more self-awareness you build, the more powerful you become. Ask these three questions often. Get curious. Get clear. And watch how quickly your mindset, and your life, start to shift.
